About The Roadside Inn

The Roadside Inn situated on Nettlestone Green is a lovely bright, spacious yet homely pub. The pub has an open fire and a wood burning stove to keep you warm when its chilly outside, a comfy seating area and seating for up to sixty people to comfortably eat and drink.

We have a lovely peaceful beer garden with built in barbeques and stage area to the rear adjacent to the petanque area, and a perfect beer garden to the front to watch the world go by.

Our games room has pool, table football, darts, vintage skittles and a one armed bandit, in the main room we have a 42″ plasma screen for all the major sporting events. We have plenty of space for our weekly live music acts and even room to boogie. We welcome families, children and dogs.

We have three hand pumps featuring old favourites such as HSB and Ringwood Forty Niner plus local brews from Goddards and Yates, the house favourite is firmly Old Rosie Scrumpy Cider. We serve a good range of spirits including all house doubles for £2.50, Jack Rabbit and Stowell Wines, Fosters, Kronenbourg 1664, Strongbow, John Smiths, Extra Cold Guinness, Stella and Magners on tap.

We serve good homecooked food all day every day including traditional pub favourites and something to suit everybody. Our specials board compliments the main menu with seasonal, fish, vegetarian, curry and pie specials. We serve homemade cakes, desserts and Cream Teas with Real Isle of Wight Clotted Cream.

We have four bright and comfortable ensuite Bed & Breakfast rooms and The Upton View Holiday Cottage (sleeps up to six people) with some lovely scenic views. The pub has its own car park with a community recycling centre.
